Lunit & Salud Digna Partner to Enhance AI-Driven Cancer Diagnostics Across Latin America

Lunit has partnered with Salud Digna, one of the largest healthcare networks in Mexico, to provide AI-based imaging solutions to over 230 clinics across Mexico and Central America. This collaboration aims to enhance diagnostic accuracy and patient care for 20 million patients annually.

Lunit, known for its AI tools in cancer diagnosis, will provide two of its leading products:

    • Lunit INSIGHT CXR, an AI tool for chest X-ray analysis
    • Lunit INSIGHT MMG, an AI-based breast imaging analysis system

These advanced solutions are designed to improve the quality of care in Salud Digna’s clinics. The partnership also includes access to a large, anonymized dataset of breast imaging and chest X-rays, which will help Lunit refine its algorithms for the Latin American market.

Juan Carlos Orduñez, CEO of Salud Digna, said: “We are integrating Lunit’s advanced AI into our healthcare system to enhance imaging accuracy and efficiency. Together, we aim to push the boundaries of medical imaging innovation to improve patient care across the region.”

This collaboration goes beyond a typical supplier relationship. Lunit and Salud Digna will work together on joint research initiatives, using shared data to further develop AI technology in medical imaging and improve healthcare delivery throughout Mexico and Latin America.

Brandon Su, CEO of Lunit, expressed, “This partnership is an important step in our global expansion. By combining our AI technology with Salud Digna’s clinical expertise and patient data, we are working together to create solutions that are uniquely tailored to the needs of patients in Mexico and the wider Latin American region.”
